HCRA Volleyball league will begin games this Saturday at Longview Rec. Center and at Academy Park in Franklin. HCRA Volleyball will be a part of the Williamson County Parks & Recreation league. This year we fielded 7 teams from this area. We have 3 divisions in the HCRA league: Introductory League - This is a coed training league for 4th and 5th graders designed for players interested in building the basic volleyball skills. Games will be played with the Volley-Lite ball and players do not have to serve from behind the baseline. $50.00 Intermediate League - This is a coed league for 6th, 7th & 8th graders who are beginners interested in learning and improving on the basic volleyball skills. These are players who have not played before or did not make their middle school team. Games will be played with regular volleyballs and will not be required to serve from behind the baseline. (Although encouraged to) $80.00 Advanced League - This is a coed league designed for 6th, 7th & 8th graders who have Middle School or Travel Volleyball experience. Player will be required to serve from behind the baseline and are encouraged to serve overhand. Games will be played with regular volleyballs and will be played according to TSSAA rules.
